The Sunshine State is a dream destination that offers an abundance of vacation spots – from beautiful beaches to colorful cities to wondrous wildlife and thrilling theme parks, Florida has something for everyone!

Check out these recommended travel spots to visit and create unforgettable memories!

Everglades National Park – Not too far from Palm Beach County is the American national park that protects the southern twenty percent of the original Everglades in Florida. The park is the largest tropical wilderness in the United States and the largest wilderness of any kind east of the Mississippi River. Nature tours, bike rides, alligator sightings and so much more can be done here in the park!

Wakulla Springs State Park – Glowing an otherworldly aqua and overhung with Spanish moss, the natural spring at the center of this 6000-acre state park feels like something from the set of an exotic adventure movie, and indeed parts of Tarzan’s Secret Treasure and The Creature from the Black Lagoon were filmed here. Gushing 1.2 billion gallons of water daily, the spring is deep and ancient: the remains of at least 10 ice-age mammals have been found. Bring your bathing suit and snacks and make a day of it at the Springs!

Kennedy Space Center – One of ten NASA field centers, Kennedy Space Center is a premier multiuser spaceport with more than 90 private-sector partners and nearly 250 partnership agreements. The presence of commercial companies at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is larger than ever before, enabling us to embark on a new era of space exploration. Although Kennedy is the agency’s main launch site, the center also is home to facilities that research and develop innovative solutions that government and commercial space ventures need for working and living on the surfaces of the Moon and other bodies in our solar system. Schedule your trip around one of the launches for an extra special treat!

Amelia Island – If tranquility is what you’re looking for this– is the place to start. Not technically an island in the traditional sense Amelia Island is a serene stretch of Florida coastline & it bodes well for the rest of your journey down the East Coast. Treasured for long stretches of Appalachian quartz shoreline, abundant outdoor recreation, championship golf courses and charming seaport character, Amelia Island is consistently ranked among the best places to travel to in the United States.
