Holiday In Paradise: Big Deal Big Wheel – Kick off the holiday season downtown West Palm Beach. Be sure to see Sandi, the world’s only 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand tree! As the star of the city’s annual Holiday in Paradise, The Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting takes place on Thursday, December 1st at 6pm. A massive Ferris wheel will be set up to check out the city’s skyline from above. Rides are open to all and reservations are highly encouraged. Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade – The 28th Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade takes places on Saturday, December 3rd. Starting in North Palm Beach at 6pm, it follows the intracoastal with a grand finale and conclusion at the Jupiter Lighthouse. This year’s parade marks the 22nd anniversary of the partnership between the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and the U.S. Marine Reserves Toys for Tots organization, plus more recently Little Smiles. Hobe Sound Annual Christmas Parade – The Hobe Sound Chamber hosts the 36th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3rd. The parade begins at 1:00pm led by the Martin County Sheriff’s Department followed by dignitaries, vintage cars, floats, marchers, trucks, school bands and much more. Local restaurants and shops along and nearby the route will be celebrating with special events as well. So, put on your favorite festive holiday apparel, grab a chair, and meet your friends for this festive event happening 10:30am – 2:30pm.
